If you were to see my kidlets and Mr Plumcute you would see more of him than me in them. Everybody does. I have quit counting the times that people say "boy he/she sure does look like their daddy". You could say that I have given up being recognized in my offspring. Don't get me wrong, I love that my kids look like their dad. It's just that every once and a while it would be nice to hear that someone sees me in them too (and not just because of their stubbornness or stage presence). So, why an entire post devoted to this subject you might wonder? Here's why...
While looking through old photos with my mom this week I came across this one of me, my brother, and my grandmother in Colfax, CA...many years ago (emphasize the many part)...First off I want to say that I happen to absolutely LOVE this picture of my grandmother and notice in the background the really cool car she had, probably a Dodge Dart or some kind of Plymouth, with it's extra wide mirrors for towing their travel trailer...but the really neat-o thing that pertains to this post is that in my little face I see my son and so does Mr Plumcute. It's nice to know that they favor me a little too.
Hope you have a great weekend. I am off to raid more family photos, dig through the ceder chest while my mother isn't looking, and recover from yesterday at Disneyland. More about that next time!
