I am a teensy bit excited with the stash bustin' progress this month. Over the past couple of weeks I have used somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 yards of fabric which weighs, based on the sketchy math used at the end of last December, roughly a pound and a half...add that to the pound I cut out in the form of a basket quilt (not yet assembled) it means a ballpark figure of a whopin 2.5 pounds of fabric gone in the last 30 days. IF...IF...IF I can keep that pace up I might actually cut out about 31 pounds of fabric which is like a quarter of the stash (of course half would be better so I will have to make some bigger things maybe)...Add to that the fact that I have acquired no new fabric...zip, zilch, nada...and I am pretty stinkin' excited. Oh and of the 5 yards some 2 plus change yards were used in gift giving endeavors which is like a double goodness because it means I didn't spend money on gifts but instead gave personal handmade items. Woo Hoo!
Wow...don't know about you guys but my head is spinning. It doesn't take much these days. I haven't been getting out alot so its the little things that excite me lately. Okay...enough said...
