...because it's a military thing and the military is notorious for abrupt changes that seem to make the best laid plans vanish into thin air before my very eyes...literally. Here goes...
The Plumcutes are taking a "vacation".
To places far, far away.
And it's going to be an adventure like no other before it...providing that I am not about to jinx it by blogging on the whole matter. We are going here: just for a little bit & then we will be back home...
Mr Plumcute will be working but the kids and I get to say we are spending our Summer on the Med. Wow.
So, I have packed several new journals & sketch books, some stitching, some more stitching, and my camera...and maybe some more stitching as a girl can never be overprepared in this department.
Speaking of prepared...I am taking a crash course in Italian (Rosetta Stone).
La bicicletta verde...because seriously, who doesn't NEED to know how to say the green bicycle while they're in Italy?
Never mind "I don't speak Italian," or "Where is the restroom?" or "Can you help me I'm lost"...so far those things have not been in my lessons. I'm just hoping I never have to pee without having previously scouted out a restroom, that everyone miraculously speaks English, and that I don't get lost. Although, I realize that none of those things are very likely.
Anyhoo...I will have access to email & I am hoping the blog too so check here often to get a glimpse of our adventure. I plan to come home inspired. I am trying to figure out how to come home from pasta heaven at the same weight. And given what I have packed...there should be new patterns not long after I get home too!
All right...gotta go cram all this into a suitcase.

Until Next Time, Arrivedercci!
PS...if you don't have your summer stitching planned out yet, check my catalog and order by Tuesday July 5th so you can stitch your summer away...after Tuesday I cannot guarantee you will get your patterns before I go.
