Because Mister Plumcute arrived safely yesterday.
And my camera with him.
So, now I can show off peeks of this...

She doesn't have a name yet but is sure to be sweet when finished!
Other than that...there is still a whole lot of this going on around Casa de Plumcute...
We hope to celebrate with one side of the family this weekend...and then the other side will hopefully happen not too long after that.

I tried to take some pictures yesterday with Little Miss Plumcute's camera...let's just say that was a fiasco. Unless you like blurry. Her camera is not made for the up close stuff I do or I am not understanding her little camera...one of the two.

But it feels like Monday. And I am acutely aware of the fact that I have no picture to go with this post. You see, my camera isn't home from Germany yet. I thought I had taken enough pictures to get me through until Mister Plumcute arrived with the camera bag...but I thought wrong...or my computer ate a whole bunch of pictures...one of the two. I can find no pictures of the other four stitcheries completed while I was off having a European Christmas. And I am sure that I took some...or did I leave them on the memory stick in the camera instead of loading them onto the laptop before putting it in my carry-on. Sigh.
Sadly, I don't remember.
In the mean time, I am stitching on some more new things for upcoming magazine deadlines, show debuts, and a few other little places you might see me turn up. I just can't prove it right now because of the whole camera still on vacation thingy.
Hope you are all having a great January! I promise stitchery pictures as soon as I get them. For now, here's a little something something pretty to look at from the files I do have access to...

Aside from that I have been trying to get the luggage unpacked & put away. We are still enjoying all the Christmas decor at the house...it's staying up until we have our family Christmas exchange which won't happen until the Mister gets home...in short, we are celebrating Christmas until February in the land of Plumcute. It's a good thing I like it!

Back at my house.
It won't be home until Mr Plumcute
arrives here safely.
He is still in Germany...lucky.
Still, it's nice to sleep in my own bed, have access to all of my clothes, and be able to blog normally...with regular size font, centered text, and pictures.
So we hit the ground running today with classes starting at 9am. Of course I was up at 3:30am so laundry is already under way and the to-do list is beginning to take shape.
On the horizon...my stitchery club starts this month at A Quilted Heart in Vacaville, CA.
There might still be room if you are interested.
You can find a series of designs by me in Create & Decorate magazine (every issue this year)
& kits are available through the website.
I will be vending at the Manteca, CA quilt show the
first weekend in March.
And I have several new designs debuting there.
(maybe even a whole bunch if I get my act together)
