Here's a shot of it out of the hoop. I still have the star to stitch above my #1 and down the left it will say "My true love gave to me"...so that's what I am working on today...and probably this whole weekend if we're being honest. :)

So...Ms Snow is still a work in progress. I keep "re-arranging" the mixed media aspects because it's not quite right yet. But soon.
In between my adventures with Ms Snow, I am working on finishing up The 12 Days of Christmas. I don't have pictures yet as it is still in a hoop but I hope to have it out and pressed in the next day or so. I will take pictures before I send it off to be quilted...promise.
On a side note...I don't think I ever showed this off.
It is the first in a series of travel pincushions. Kits are available for $20 (includes fabric, glass base, ribbon, & pattern). Email me if you would like to order one (or two). They make great little gift items and are quick to stitch up!

So...I have been playing with all sorts of things these days...glitter, stamps, scalloped rotary cutters, wool, metal, vintage dictionary pages, and oh-so-much more! And while she is not finished...she is in progress. It's the little things really...like her pocketwatch not sitting centered but off to the left or right instead...and maybe some teeny-tiny pieced hexagons somewhere...and perhaps buttons on the capelet...and whatever else my little fancy is struck by! And then of course all the stitching so it's not just held together by smoke & mirrors.
The question I have for you is: Would you like to make one of your very own? Let me know what you think.
