I have this great technique that a good friend in Oklahoma taught me about making intersections in quilts match up beautifully but right now you wouldn't know it if you were to look at the project I am working on. I have unsewn (and that is a whole other posting soapbox) this particular seam twice...it's still not behaving. It might just be time to rip the whole border off and put together a new one from scratch...ugh, how I dispise unsewing. It's sew counterproductive!
So here is a little sneek peek of another re-invent I am cranking out...it uses a charm pack, some assorted yardage, & wool...wonderful wool...
back to unsewing & re-sewing. The sooner I get it done the sooner I get to applique. And we all know that means the sooner you get a full shot of this lovely (and that is what it is really all about)...

Hello everybody...it's my day for the Stitchers Angel project and I am hoping that you like the little something I have stitched up for you. My mother claims that there is a point called the "Popeye Point"...She says it's when you've had all you can stands and you can't stands no more...I think I am there. This is the current ( & very embarrassing ) state of my studio...
It didn't just happen either it has been a gradual process of neglect & pig pen-edness. And yes, that is my cereal bowl from this morning...I took yesterday's down before I shot the picture. I am hoping to get a handle on this disaster before it gets the better part of me. The sad part is that I find my studio in this state more often than not & when my friends come over on the rare occasion that it is clean they're surprised. I am normally a clean person so I am hating my current reputation...must change habits. Gotta go clean.

But alas, common sense prevailed and now she is sitting in all her pumpkiny goodness over at Bearpaws & Hollyhocks as part of my trunkshow there. Her friend the crow is coming along nicely and the other ladies will be underway soon (I hope).
Well, I am off and running as it is the beginning of a busy week around here. It's finalizing the plans for a church/community picnic this week, stitching secret stuff for Lecien, and learning about George Washington! Exciting!!!

This is one of the new designs I am working on...it's my first pending deadline as it is the class sample for Bearpaws & Hollyhocks upcoming stitchery class and I have to have it finished tonight for tomorrow's photography etc. I am pleased with my progress and how it is turning out so far. The class should be fun...hope to see you there (it's at the end of September so you have time to put it on your calendar)...back to work for me!
